Switchbone JX-2 ABY
The Switchbone JX-2 ABY is an ABY amp selector pedal for guitarists who want to drive two amps, or two amp channels, from one instrument. It has a class-A buffered signal path, a transformer-isolated second output, a variable booster and a dedicated tuner output.

The Switchbone JX-2 ABY switches one instrument signal between two amps, or sends it to both at once. Three footswitches handle A/B selection, combining the amps and engaging a built-in booster. Photocell switching ramps the signal up and down to avoid the pops of passive switchers, and flashing LEDs show which amp was selected last.
The signal path is a 100% discrete class-A buffer, using the same circuit as the Radial JD7 Injector. A Drag control restores the natural interaction between pickup and amp that buffering removes, and it also allows cable runs of up to 15 m (50 ft) without noise. The second output is transformer-isolated to break ground loops, and a 180° polarity reverse switch keeps both amps in phase.
The booster has a variable level control and a 3-position mid-boost switch for extra cut when soloing. It can be bypassed and turned into a mute switch for silent tuning. A separate buffered tuner output is always active. The manufacturer lists the unit as discontinued.
