PZ-Select
Two-channel instrument switcher for players who alternate between electric and acoustic instruments, or use hybrid guitars with magnetic and piezo pickups. It has separate outputs for a stage amp and the PA, and is now discontinued.

The PZ-Select is a floor-based footswitch unit with two channels. Channel one is meant for a magnetic electric pickup and uses a class-A buffer paired with Drag Control load correction to keep the tone natural. Channel two is meant for a piezo or acoustic source and presents a 10 megohm input impedance, with a 3-position high-pass filter, a low-pass filter and a 180 degree polarity reverse to tame harshness, muddiness and resonant feedback.
Two outputs are provided: a standard 1/4 inch output for a stage amp and a built-in direct box with a low-impedance balanced XLR output for the PA. A dedicated effects loop on the piezo channel lets pedals feed both outputs. Each channel is chosen with its own footswitch, and large LEDs show which one is active. A tuner output carries the combined signal of both pickups even when the unit is switched off, so tuning can be done silently.
A hybrid guitar connects through a single TRS stereo cable. Typical setups include hybrid guitar to amp and PA, electric and upright bass to two amps, PA and tuner, or electric and acoustic guitars sent to different destinations.
