PZ-Pre
The Radial PZ-Pre is a two-channel acoustic instrument preamp in a pedal-style box, built around discrete class-A piezo boosters and semi-parametric EQ. It suits acoustic players who switch or blend two instruments or pickups on stage and need feedback control and separate DI feeds for PA and monitors.

The PZ-Pre combines two input channels with a quiet preamp stage that adapts to different pickup systems. Each input has a discrete class-A piezo booster, so it can be set up for piezo transducers as well as other acoustic pickups. The channels can be switched between for quick instrument changes, or blended to combine two pickups on one instrument.
Tone shaping comes from a semi-parametric EQ with a three-band tone section, a low-cut switch, and feedback-fighting controls in the form of a notch filter and a resonance filter. A power boost and a mute function add further stage control.
Two direct box outputs are provided, one before the EQ and one after it. This lets a dry signal go to the house PA while the performer's own EQ'd sound goes to the stage monitors. The unit ships with a power supply (Radial part R800 9415) and the product part number is R800 7085 00.
