Power-1

The Power-1 is a steel-chassis rackmount power conditioner that protects connected equipment from mains surges and filters interference. It uses a premium metal-oxide varistor (MOV) that is rated for better thermal protection and longer life than lower-grade parts, and works in shunt mode without contaminating the ground, which helps keep system noise low.

A high-rejection RF filter keeps high-frequency and AM radio interference off the power line so it does not reach audio signals. Eight outlets sit on the rear panel, four of them spaced to fit large wall-wart power supplies, and three more outlets on the front panel make it easy to plug in gear temporarily. A front USB port charges phones and other personal devices.

Power is switched with a heavy-duty on/off switch, and the outlets use rugged connectors intended for repeated touring use. The unit mounts in a standard equipment rack and connects to a single mains supply.
