PhazeQ

The PhazeQ is a phase adjuster built as a 500 series module. It lets an engineer line up two related signals, for example a direct feed and a microphone on the same guitar amp, so that their fundamentals move together instead of partly cancelling.

The signal path is fully analog and uses a Class-A audio circuit. The amount of phase shift is variable, so the alignment can be set by ear for each pairing of sources. A low-pass filter narrows the range the effect acts on, which keeps it focused on the part of the spectrum that matters.

The unit fits any 500 series rack. Typical uses listed by the maker include a direct signal with a mic on a guitar amp, one mic inside and one outside a kick drum, and an XY stereo mic pair on acoustic guitar. The product has been discontinued, and a user guide and a smart sheet remain available for existing owners.
