KL-8
The KL-8 is a 1U rackmount keyboard mixer for stage and studio use. It combines four stereo analog keyboard inputs, a stereo aux loop, dual USB computer inputs and headphone cueing, and suits keyboardists running multi-keyboard or soft-synth rigs.

The KL-8 mixes up to four keyboards in mono or stereo, each with its own level control, aux send and LED indicator. A stereo aux send/receive can feed rackmount reverbs, delays or effects pedals, or serve as a fifth stereo input. Main outputs are transformer-isolated XLRs for the PA, with separate XLR monitor outputs for on-stage speakers.
Two USB inputs allow a primary and a backup laptop to be connected at once. A front-panel USB select switch changes between them, and the optional JR-1L footswitch can do the same remotely or turn the aux on and off. Digital conversion runs at 24-bit/192 kHz, so the unit also works as a recording interface, and MIDI is provided for driving a soft-synth.
Each channel has a Cue switch that pulls it out of the main and monitor outputs and sends it to the headphones. A built-in headphone amp with dual 1/4" TRS outputs allows silent programming, testing and practice. 1/4" TRS inserts accept a stereo volume pedal, and several KL-8 units can be linked for larger setups.
