Catapult
A passive analog audio snake that carries four balanced mic or line-level channels over a single shielded Cat 5 or Cat 6 Ethernet cable. It suits installers, touring crews and studios that want to reuse existing network cabling instead of a bulky multicore.

The Catapult system moves four channels of analog audio between two locations using standard Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable. Transmit (TX4) and receive (RX4) modules are wired straight through from the XLR connectors to the RJ45 jack, so the signal stays analog with no digital conversion and no power needed.
The range is modular and every transmit and receive unit works with every other. Direct-wired TX4/RX4 modules are joined by transformer-isolated versions: the TX4M and RX4M for splitting microphone signals, and the TX4L and RX4L for line-level splits, ground-loop isolation and feeds to amp racks. Typical uses include return snakes, stage sub snakes, mic splitting between monitor and front-of-house desks, line isolation and networking audio between rooms through installed building cable.
The modules can also carry four 110 ohm AES signals over the same cable, giving eight channels of digital audio for remote recording. Catapult Mini and Catapult Rack units can be mixed into the same system.
