S-C
The S-C is a two-way vented centre-channel speaker from Quad's S Series, built around two 100mm woven Kevlar bass/midrange drivers and a 45 x 12mm ribbon tweeter. It suits home cinema or multichannel setups that need a dialogue-focused centre speaker matched to other S Series models.

The S-C is a compact centre speaker in the Quad S Series. It uses a vented enclosure of 12.8 litres with a two-way layout: two 100mm woven Kevlar bass/midrange drivers flank a 45 x 12mm true ribbon treble unit, with the crossover set at 2.8kHz. The cabinet has no AV shielding.
Rated frequency response is 65Hz to 20kHz (±3dB), with bass extension to 60Hz at -6dB. Sensitivity is 86dB (2.83V at 1m) and nominal impedance is 8Ω, dipping to a minimum of 4.4Ω. Recommended amplifier power is 25-150W.
The cabinet measures 400mm wide and weighs 6.3kg. It is offered in four finishes: Black Oak, Piano Black, Piano White and Sapele Mahogany. Related models in the range include the S-1, S-2, S-4, S-5 and S-C2. A brochure and manual are available for download.
