S-1

The S-1 is the smallest model in the S Series loudspeaker range. It is a two-way design in a 6.7-litre vented cabinet. A 4-inch (100 mm) woven Kevlar cone handles bass and midrange, and a 45 x 12 mm true ribbon unit covers the treble. The two drivers are joined by a crossover network set at 3.2 kHz.
Stated frequency response is 58 Hz to 20 kHz (±3 dB), with bass extension to 55 Hz at -6 dB. Sensitivity is 84 dB (2.83 V at 1 m). Nominal impedance is 8 ohms with a minimum of 4.2 ohms, and the recommended amplifier power is 25 to 150 W.
The cabinet measures 285 x 156 x (240 + 30) mm and weighs 5.2 kg. It is offered in four finishes: Black Oak, Sapele Mahogany, Piano Black and Piano White. A brochure and a manual are available as downloads. The speaker connects to an amplifier through its loudspeaker terminals; the listed specifications do not describe the terminal type.
