ELEGAN 2 is a three-way floorstanding speaker that sits above ELEGAN 1 in the range. Two 165mm woven Kevlar bass drivers handle low frequencies, with bass extension down to 32Hz (-6dB). A 125mm woven Kevlar midrange driver sits in its own isolated enclosure, and a 25mm fabric-dome tweeter is mounted in a profiled waveguide to control dispersion.
A Linkwitz-Riley crossover splits the signal at 480Hz and 2.7kHz. The cabinet is braced to limit resonance, and a bass-reflex system with Airflow port design is used to reduce port turbulence. Sensitivity is 90dB, nominal impedance is 8Ω-compatible with a 3.0Ω minimum, and the recommended amplifier power is 30-200W.
Connection is by speaker terminals on the rear of the cabinet. The speaker is available in matte black or real walnut veneer and ships with a spike seat. A removable grille is fitted, and a manual is available for download.
