The QI65C is a single in-ceiling speaker with a 6.5-inch woofer and a 0.75-inch (19 mm) swivel tweeter. It is built from UL94 flame-retardant materials and is moisture proof, so it can be used in rooms such as kitchens. Rear depth is under 79 mm and the cutout is 203 mm.
The high frequencies can be trimmed by plus or minus 3 dB with a switch on the crossover. The bezel and grille clip on magnetically, and the grille comes in square and circular versions to suit different interiors.
Fitting is done from the front: a cutter guide marks the hole, and four clamps are tightened with a screwdriver from the front. The speaker terminals are push-open connectors that can be operated with one hand. An installation template and fitting instructions are supplied. Nominal impedance is 8 ohms and program power handling is 15-60 W.
