The Q SUB120 is a sealed, active 12-inch subwoofer with a 300 W continuous amplifier and DSP-based room integration. It suits stereo, 2.1, 5.1 or 7.2 home cinema systems, and powered speakers needing more low-end extension.

The Q SUB120 is the largest model in the Q SUB series, which also includes the 8-inch Q SUB80 and 10-inch Q SUB100. It uses a sealed (infinite baffle) cabinet built from 18 mm MDF with a 36 mm double-thickness baffle and internal dart bracing. Without a port, it can be placed close to walls or furniture. The 305 mm driver has a steel chassis, paper cone, rubber surround and a 50 mm voice coil with an aluminium demodulation ring.
A custom amplifier module combines DSP, power amplifier and power supply. Four digital amplifier stages work in a parallel bridge-tied load arrangement, giving 300 W continuous and 600 W peak output. The DSP detects whether the input is stereo or mono and its level, then sets system gain automatically. Phase inversion and delay adjustment help align the subwoofer with the other speakers in the room, and the low-pass filter is adjustable from 40 Hz to 250 Hz.
It is intended for use with a stereo preamp output, a mono feed from active speakers, or a home cinema system. It comes in Satin Black with a black grille or Satin White with a grey grille, and ships with four spikes, locking nuts and spike covers.
