Q Active 200 is a pair of powered stand-mount speakers with class D amplification built in, so no external amp or receiver is needed. Each cabinet holds two 58mm BMR full-range drivers in an offset layout and a rear-firing 114mm high-excursion subwoofer, with a 150Hz crossover. Each driver has its own amplifier, and the system is rated at 280W peak per speaker. Dart bracing stiffens the cabinet and steadies the subwoofer.
A compact Control Hub is supplied with the pair. It joins the home network over ethernet or Wi-Fi and supports Google Cast, Apple AirPlay 2, Roon, Spotify and Bluetooth, plus voice control through Google Assistant or Apple Siri. Wired inputs cover optical, HDMI ARC and analogue, with a switchable phono MM stage for a turntable. The Hub converts these sources to 24bit/96kHz and sends them to the speakers over a 5.8GHz wireless link.
The speakers come in black or white. They can be used without stands or with FS50 or FS75 floor stands, and a wall bracket is listed as a recommended accessory.
