3050i

The 3050i is a floorstanding loudspeaker supplied as a pair. Each cabinet is a 2-way reflex design with two 165 mm (6.5 in) paper-cone bass drivers and a 22 mm tweeter. The tweeter is decoupled from the baffle by a compliant suspension to isolate it from woofer vibration, and the bass drivers use impregnated, coated paper cones with a low-hysteresis rubber surround.

The cabinet uses Point-to-Point (P2P) bracing to stiffen the enclosure, and Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer (HPE) tubes inside to reduce internal pressure build-up and cabinet resonance. The terminal panel cut-out has been removed to improve structural rigidity. Chrome bezels surround each driver and magnetic grilles are included.

Connection is by speaker cable to low-profile binding posts, with sockets deep enough for 4 mm banana plugs, so the speakers can sit close to a rear wall. Stabilisers and spikes are supplied for floor placement. Finishes listed are Graphite Grey, English Walnut, Carbon Black and Arctic White.
