The X2 is a belt-drive turntable with a 9-inch carbon/aluminium sandwich tonearm, 2 kg acrylic platter and electronic 33/45/78 RPM speed change. It suits vinyl listeners wanting an adjustable high-end deck, and has since been superseded by the X2 B.

The X2 is a belt-drive turntable built around a 30 mm, 2 kg acrylic platter and a stainless steel/brass main bearing. A DC/AC generator board supplies the motor, and speed is switched between 33, 45 and 78 RPM with a single button. The motor chassis is balanced and suspended on a tuned TPE belt, which decouples it from the main plinth.
The 9" one-piece carbon/aluminium sandwich tonearm has no separate headshell and a wider tube than the X1's arm. Its extra mass suits low-compliance MC cartridges. Azimuth and VTA are fully adjustable, and the arm comes with a TPE-damped counterweight. Three height-adjustable damped aluminium feet support the deck. It can be bought with or without the Pick it 2M Silver cartridge, which uses silver-plated copper coils, and is offered in High Gloss, Satin and Real Wood finishes.
The deck connects to an amplifier's phono input through the supplied Connect it E semi-balanced RCA phono cable. It is powered by an external 15 V DC power supply. This page covers the original X2; an updated X2 B with a True Balanced Connection is also available.
