The T2 is a two-speed belt-drive turntable with electronic switching between 33 and 45 RPM. It builds on the maker's earlier T1, with a larger CNC-machined plinth that has no hollow spaces inside and no plastic parts, which is intended to limit vibration in the chassis. The platter is a 10 mm thick glass disc weighing 1.7 kg, topped with a felt mat, and it is heavier and thicker than the one on the predecessor.
The 9" aluminium tonearm has an effective length of 230 mm and an effective mass of 9.5 g. It uses a new adjustable spring-based anti-skating mechanism. The tonearm is fitted with a Sumiko Rainier moving magnet cartridge, hand-made in Japan. The main bearing is stainless steel and brass.
The turntable outputs through a phono RCA cable and runs from a 15 V DC universal power supply. The finishes are High Gloss Black, Satin White and Walnut. A dust cover, felt mat and singles adapter are supplied, and the deck is made in Europe.
