The T2 Super Phono is a two-speed belt-drive turntable (33 and 45 RPM, changed electronically) built around a 9-inch aluminium tonearm and a 10 mm, 1.7 kg glass platter with a felt mat. The main bearing is stainless steel and brass. It is made in Europe and comes in high gloss, satin and wood finishes.
A new dual-stage split-passive MM phono preamp is built in. It can be switched off, so the turntable can be used with an external phono stage or with MC cartridges. The tonearm has an adjustable spring-based anti-skating mechanism, and a Sumiko Rainier moving-magnet cartridge, made in Japan, is supplied.
The turntable connects through the supplied phono RCA cable and runs from a 15 V / 800 mA DC universal power supply. A dust cover, felt mat and singles adapter are included. Power draw is 4.5 W in use and under 2 W in network standby.
