The Pick it MM E is a moving-magnet cartridge that converts record grooves into an electrical signal. It uses a low-mass generator system built around a miniature neodymium magnet, which lowers inertia and improves tracking. The stylus is a conical diamond, and the stylus is shielded by a protective design.
The body is made from resonance-optimised ABS and the cartridge weighs about 5.5 g. The highly damped housing is intended to reduce vibration-induced coloration and keep background noise low, making it a general-purpose option for a wide range of records.
It mounts to a tonearm headshell using the 1/2 inch standard. Output voltage is 3.8 mV at 1 kHz, the recommended tracking force is 2.0 g within a 1.8 to 2.2 g range, and the recommended load resistance is 47 kΩ. Frequency response is 10 to 20,000 Hz within ±2 dB.
