The unit has two inputs, a phono input for MM cartridges and a 3.5 mm line input, and two outputs, a 3.5 mm line output and a Bluetooth output. It can serve as a standard MM phono stage feeding an amplifier, or it can convert the analogue signal to digital and send it to a Bluetooth receiver within about 10 m. The analogue and Bluetooth outputs can be used at the same time.
Bluetooth 5.2 is supported with aptX, aptX Adaptive and aptX HD codecs for high-resolution transmission. Pairing with the maker's BT Box E HD receiver is recommended to keep high-resolution compatibility end to end. The audio side uses RIAA equalisation accurate to within 0.5 dB from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, low-noise circuitry and internal metal shielding.
The case is small, with gold-plated RCA connectors. Power comes from an included outboard supply suited to the local mains. It is offered in black or white.
