The StudioLive Series III SE 24 is a compact digital console with 33 remote-controllable preamps, 32-bit floating-point processing and 24-bit converters rated at 115 dB dynamic range. It offers 40 channels and 26 buses, including 16 FlexMixes that can act as auxes, subgroups or matrix mixes, plus four effects buses, four subgroups and 24 DCAs. Twenty-five touch-sensitive motorized faders and eight scribble strip displays handle level control and channel visibility.
Processing is built around the Fat Channel, which includes all seven EQs and eight compressor models from the Fat Channel Collection, along with reverb with extended parameters such as diffusion, predelay, room size and damping. Recording is possible to an onboard SD card in WAV format or over the 64x64 USB audio interface, and Capture software supports one-click virtual soundcheck. Fender Studio Pro and other DAWs work with the console.
For connectivity, the console has Milan-certified AVB networking to link with StudioLive Stage Boxes and other Milan-compatible gear, AES/EBU output, XLR and TRS line outputs, tape in/out and a headphone jack. Remote control is available through Universal Control, QMix-UC for personal monitor mixes, and the Metro remote access suite.
