The StudioLive SE 16R is an 18-channel digital mixer in a 1U, 19-inch rack chassis. It has 16 recallable XMAX-R mic preamps and FLEX DSP processing with Fat Channel EQ and compression on every input and bus. Routing options include six FlexMixes that can be set up as aux, subgroup or matrix mixes, two dedicated FX mixes with stereo returns, and six DCAs.
For recording, the unit works as a bidirectional 18x18 USB 2.0 audio interface and also records a stereo WAV file to an SD card. Virtual Soundcheck works with Capture software, and each channel can switch its source between analog, USB, SD and AVB. It can run standalone or as a monitor mixer, interface or stagebox.
Milan-certified AVB networking lets it join StudioLive Series III systems. Remote control comes from Universal Control software and its Offline Editor, and QMix-UC provides personal monitor mixing. A perpetual license for Fender Studio Pro is included.
