The twenty5.21 is a small passive loudspeaker that uses PMC's Advanced Transmission Line (ATL) bass loading with a Laminair vent. The aim is deeper bass extension from a compact cabinet, with a stated response from 46Hz to 25kHz. It is designed for medium and small rooms and can be placed on a shelf or on a dedicated stand.
The bass driver is a 5.5-inch (140mm) long-throw g-weave cone on a cast alloy chassis. The treble is handled by a 27mm SONOLEX fabric soft dome made with SEAS, cooled with ferrofluid. The crossover point is 1.8kHz, and the effective ATL length is 1.72m.
Sensitivity is 86.5dB (1W, 1m) into an 8 ohm load, with a recommended amplifier power of 30 to 150W. Connection is by one pair of 4mm binding posts. Each speaker weighs 6kg. A 20-year warranty is available when the product is registered within 10 days of purchase, subject to terms.
