The twenty.24 is a slim floorstanding two-way speaker that uses PMC's Advanced Transmission Line (ATL) bass loading rather than a ported or sealed box. The line has an effective length of 3.0 m, which allows the 170 mm bass driver to reach down to 28 Hz from a relatively narrow cabinet.
The bass unit is a lightweight doped cone on a cast alloy chassis, and the high-frequency unit is a 27 mm Sonolex soft dome made with SEAS and cooled with ferrofluid. The crossover point is 1.8 kHz. Sensitivity is 90 dB (1 W, 1 m) into a nominal 8 ohm load.
Connection is through two pairs of 4 mm sockets, so the speaker can be bi-wired or bi-amped. The cabinet stands on spikes, and a plinth and spike installation guide is available.
