TLE1

The TLE1 combines a loudspeaker and a power amplifier in one slender cabinet with a small footprint. It uses two doped 170mm cast alloy chassis bass drivers, driven by a 150W RMS amplifier section based on a Bryston design. Inside the cabinet is a transmission line with an effective length of 3m (9.8ft), which gives a stated frequency response of 22Hz to 200Hz.
The amplifier section has a power bandwidth of 1Hz to 100kHz and a signal to noise ratio of 90dB referenced to 0dBu. The roll-off frequency is variable between 40Hz and 155Hz at 12dB per octave. Power consumption is 160W.
Inputs are two XLR and two RCA phono connectors, each with a 20k Ohm input impedance. The unit measures 550mm high, 200mm wide and 545mm deep plus grille, and weighs 17.5kg. A 20 year warranty applies if the product is registered within 10 days of purchase. The model is listed among PMC's archive products. Brochure and user manual downloads are provided.
