PMC10 SUB

The PMC10 SUB is a standalone low-frequency unit meant to be added to a PMC monitoring setup. It uses the same ATL (Advanced Transmission Line) cabinet with Laminair venting as the full-range PMC10 monitor, but has no tweeter or midrange driver. A custom 10-inch bass driver with a large excursion range handles the low end.

The subwoofer is powered and controlled by a rack-mountable master36 DSP/amplifier, which uses Class-D amplification to deliver 1000W to the bass driver. Built-in DSP provides high-pass and low-pass filters matched to the driver, excursion limiting for protection, and room-optimisation EQ.

The system takes analogue and digital inputs, with digital up to 192kHz. It is controlled over a standard LAN through the browser-based SoundAlign2 interface. For more low-frequency output and headroom, a second PMC10 SUB can be daisy-chained from the same master36, giving 2000W in total. The product is listed as in production, with a waitlist open.
