ci45

The ci45 is a two-way passive speaker in PMC's ci series, aimed at custom installs and immersive rooms. It pairs a 133mm (5.25") Natural Fibre LT bass unit with a 27mm (1") soft dome tweeter. Bass loading is by Advanced Transmission Line (ATL) technology with an effective ATL length of 1.65m. Compared with the smaller ci30, it is described as offering more image depth, bass extension and dynamics, which makes it a fit for larger spaces.

The speaker is fitted with the Qikfire spring-loaded mounting system, so it is fixed in a wall opening with a twist of a screwdriver and can be micro-adjusted after installation. An optional pre-mount kit (PMK) template can be fixed to studs or joists before plastering. For on-wall use, a supplied interlocking bracket allows fine level adjustment, and optional OWK kits in silk white or silk black add a cabinet sleeve that hides the in-wall fitting.

Connection is by one pair of 4mm sockets. The magnetically fixed, perforated grille is silk white as standard, with a black silk grille available as an option. An optional BRKT wall bracket allows the cabinet to be angled vertically and horizontally.
