ci140

The ci140 is the largest on-wall model in the ci series. Four 133mm natural fibre LTx long-throw woofers handle the low end, with a 50mm PMC55 n-compass soft-dome mid-range and a 27mm soft-dome tweeter above them. Bass is loaded by an Advanced Transmission Line with an effective length of 2.3m, enhanced with Laminair technology. Rated frequency response is 32Hz (-3dB) to 25kHz.

Unlike most of the ci series, the ci140 and its matching ci140sub subwoofer are designed for on-wall use only; they cannot be mounted in-wall. Mounting uses a supplied interlocking bracket that allows fine level adjustment. An optional BRKT wall bracket permits movement in both vertical and horizontal planes so the cabinet can be angled. The perforated grille is fixed magnetically and is finished in white silk, with a black silk grille available as an option.

The ci140 is a passive loudspeaker with a single pair of 4mm sockets for input, so it needs an external amplifier. It has been used as the left, centre and right channels in a 9.1.4 Dolby Atmos reference system alongside ci140sub units.
