The mixer is aimed at festival and arena use. It runs a 32-bit ESS D/A converter, a 96 kHz/24-bit sound card and 64-bit floating point mixing. A separate power supply with power factor correction keeps the audio path isolated from the power circuitry. The AES/EBU digital output and word clock input allow a direct, synchronised link to front of house.
A 13-inch multicolour touch screen folds out and tilts. It is used to browse tracks from up to four linked CDJs and to monitor each channel in a horizontal multi-wave view or a vertical view with an RMS meter. A display shade is available for outdoor use. A 5-port LAN hub with NEUTRIK etherCON connectors connects up to five players or laptops.
The effects section offers six Sound Color FX on every channel, 14 Beat FX controlled from an X-Pad, and an independent send/return. Two separate headphone sections, each with its own volume control, support back-to-back cueing. The mixer has a built-in KUVO Gateway, supports ShowKontrol and offers TRAKTOR DVS control.
