The DJM-S11-SE is a special edition of the 2-channel scratch mixer that builds on the DJM-S9. A 4.3-inch customizable touch screen shows waveforms and a track browser, and offers Touch FX and Touch MIDI pages for controlling effects and DJ software functions without using the laptop. Deck 3/4 Control adds two extra decks through the screen, and with Serato DJ Pro, Deck Move shifts tracks between decks.
On the effects side there are 22 Beat FX, including Fader Pitch and Helix, plus six buttons for DJ software effects. Smooth Echo can be triggered by a fader or pad movement. The 8 performance pads are enlarged, and in Serato DJ Pro they support Combo Pad mode and Scratch Bank. The MAGVEL FADER PRO has 30 percent more vertical rigidity than before, with a Feeling Adjust knob and crossfader curve control.
Audio uses 64-bit mixing with dithering in the DSP, a low-jitter clock and a 32-bit D/A converter in the master output. The mixer connects to a computer over USB, has dual USB-A ports for DJ controllers and other devices, and is fully MIDI assignable. It works with Serato DJ Pro, Serato DVS and rekordbox, and includes the Serato Pitch 'n Time DJ Expansion Pack.
