DDJ-SR2

The DDJ-SR2 is a two-channel controller that gives direct hardware control over Serato DJ Pro. Dedicated buttons cover the software's key-related functions (Key Shift, Key Sync and Key Reset), so pitch can be changed without altering tempo. Large multicoloured pads trigger Hot Cues, Roll and Sampler, and their colours show the active mode and playing status.

The layout follows the maker's professional gear, with large low-latency jog wheels for scratching, a needle search touch strip for jumping to any point in a track, and a dual level meter for master and channel levels. Slip mode, Roll and slicer functions are on dedicated controls. The unit is lighter than the DDJ-SR and has carry handles.

On the back, balanced XLR master outputs, a booth output and a second master output serve PA and monitoring. Line and phono inputs let it act as a mixer for media players or turntables, with channel faders and trims controlling the external gear. It connects to a PC or Mac by USB and can be powered from USB or AC. It is ready for Serato DJ DVS with the separate expansion pack.
