The DDJ-RR is a two-channel controller designed around rekordbox dj. It has large jog wheels with an illuminated on-jog display, a brushed aluminium top plate and rubber performance pads for hot cues, Pad FX, Beat Jump and Slicer. A Deck Select button switches between all four rekordbox dj decks.
Rekordbox-specific controls include Slip Mode, Release FX, Sequence Load and a Sequencer with a Sequence Call button for playing stored sample sequences. A touch-strip needle search jumps to any point in a track, and a dual level meter shows master and channel levels. The master and booth outputs use the same circuit as the DDJ-RZ.
Outputs include balanced XLR, booth and two headphone outputs, and line and phono inputs let it work as a mixer with multiplayers or turntables. PC Master Out routes the mix to the computer's speakers while headphones cue separately. It runs from USB or AC power, has carry handles, and includes a rekordbox licence key.
