The CDJ-900NXS is a multi player with a disc drive and a large full-colour LCD that shows the waveform, Wave Zoom, beat countdown, phase meter and key analysis indicator. It also lets the user view and edit rekordbox beatgrids on the unit.
Performance tools include Slip Mode, Quantize to the rekordbox beat grid, Beat Divide buttons, Slip Loop, Active Loop and Master Tempo. Tracks analysed in rekordbox can be beat matched automatically across up to 4 decks. Music plays from USB devices in MP3, AAC, WAV and AIFF formats.
Pro DJ Link connects several players, turntables or laptops over LAN so they can share one source, and the player can reach rekordbox on a computer, smartphone or tablet through a wired link to a wireless LAN router. USB is used for HID control of TRAKTOR PRO 3 and Serato DJ Pro without a control disk, and the unit can be assigned over MIDI. The built-in sound card is 24-bit/48 kHz, and the rekordbox Core plan or above is needed for software control from a computer.
