The LUMIX S1IIE is a full-frame mirrorless body built around a 24.1MP BSI CMOS sensor. It shoots stills at up to 30 fps with the electronic shutter, or blackout-free at 10 fps with the mechanical shutter, and offers a handheld high-resolution mode that produces 96MP-equivalent images. Phase Hybrid autofocus uses AI recognition of faces, eyes, urban sports and motorcycles/bikes.
For video it records up to open gate 6K 30p (3:2) as well as C4K, 4K, 3.3K and FHD, with internal 4:2:2 10-bit capture and REAL TIME LUT looks. An 8.0-stop 5-axis stabiliser with Active I.S. steadies handheld footage, and a cropless mode is available for wide-angle shots.
Framing is handled by a tilt and free-angle rear monitor and a 5.76M-dot OLED viewfinder. Dual card slots accept CFexpress Type B in slot 1, and recording can go directly to a USB SSD. It works with LUMIX Lab, LUMIX Flow, Capture One and Frame.io Camera to Cloud.
