2MR Blue
A moving-magnet phono cartridge with a slim body that is 3mm lower than standard, made for low-profile turntables. It has an elliptical diamond stylus and takes the whole 2M stylus range, for vinyl listeners who want a step up from entry level.

The 2MR Blue belongs to a cartridge series with a newly developed housing for low-profile turntables. The body is 3mm lower than a conventional one, so it can be fitted without spacers or other modifications, using two screws.
It uses a nude elliptical diamond stylus on an aluminium cantilever. The motor has quad coils with OFC wire and split pole pins, giving an output of 5.5 mV at 1 kHz. The recommended tracking force is 1.8 g and the recommended load capacitance is 150 to 300 pF. The body is made of polymer and aluminium and the cartridge weighs 6 g.
All 2M styli fit the 2MR body, so the stylus can be swapped for other profiles in the series, from 2M Red up to 2M Black LVB. Mounting is by half-inch standard fixing. A user guide and a dimensions chart can be downloaded from the product page.
