2M Blue Verso
The 2M Blue Verso is a moving-magnet phono cartridge with a nude elliptical stylus, built for bottom-mount headshells. It suits vinyl listeners who want more detail than the 2M Red from a turntable that mounts the cartridge from underneath.

The 2M Blue Verso is the bottom-mount version of Ortofon's 2M Blue. It has a nude elliptical diamond stylus on an aluminium cantilever, and a body made of polymer and aluminium. It is intended for turntables whose headshells take the cartridge from below, using a half-inch mount.
The generator uses quad coils with split pole pins and OFC coil wire. Split pole pins are an Ortofon design meant to give a moving-magnet cartridge a flatter frequency response, closer to that of a moving-coil type. Output is 5.5 mV, and the manufacturer positions the sound as more dynamic, open and detailed than the 2M Red.
Recommended tracking force is 1.8 g within a 1.6-2.0 g range. The cartridge loads at 47 kOhm with 150-300 pF of capacitance, which is the usual range for a moving-magnet phono input.
