Opis
The Terror Bass is a single-channel bass head built around a valve preamp taken from the AD200 design and a Class D power amplifier. The power section delivers 250 W into 8 ohms or 500 W into 4 ohms, and the unit weighs 4.65 kg.
The preamp uses one ECC83 (12AX7) and one ECC81 (12AT7). Controls are Pad, Clean, Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble and Volume. The Clean switch tightens the low end for extended-range or percussive playing, and variable input sensitivity lets it work with both active and passive basses.
For connections, the head has a speaker output and a balanced DI out with a ground lift switch to reduce hum when going direct to a desk or interface. An effects loop uses a valve-driven send (12AT7) and a solid-state return. Two optional footswitches, the FS-1 and FS-2, are listed as accessories.
