The OBC112 is a single-driver bass cabinet built around a custom 12-inch Lavoce neodymium speaker. The driver is rated for 400 watts at 8 ohms and is chosen for a tight low end and a focused midrange while keeping the cabinet's weight down compared with ceramic-magnet drivers.

The enclosure is made from 15 mm high-density birch ply with a rear port, which adds projection and low-end depth. At 11.85 kg and 48.5 x 42.5 x 35.5 cm, it is easy to carry and stack. It can be used on its own or in multiples, and suits a range of playing styles.

The cab carries Orange's usual cosmetics: vinyl covering, basketweave grille cloth and picture-frame edging. It is offered in Orange or Black. The 8 ohm load suits Orange bass heads such as the Little Bass Thing and Terror Bass.
