Beskrivelse
The Micro Dark is a pocket-sized guitar amp head that follows the Micro Terror with more gain and a darker, more aggressive voice. The preamp uses an ECC83 valve, while the power stage is solid-state, giving a touch-sensitive drive from a lightweight 20 W unit.
Controls are limited to Gain, Shape and Volume. The Shape control sweeps the tone between thick, mids-forward British crunch and tighter, scooped modern voicings with a single knob, replacing a conventional multi-band EQ.
The headphone output includes CabSim cabinet simulation modelled on a miked Orange 4x12, so it can be used for silent practice or for recording straight into an interface. The head also has a fully buffered effects loop, an auxiliary input and an 8-16 Ohm speaker output for use with an external cabinet. The FS-1 and FS-2 footswitches are listed as optional accessories.
