C-30

The C-30 is a single-disc CD player in the Icon series. It reads standard audio CDs, CD-R/RW discs and discs with MP3 or WMA files. Its analog output is cleaned up by VLSC (Vector Linear Shaping Circuit), a proprietary circuit that uses algorithms to remove pulse noise from the signal path.

Timing is handled by a high-precision ±10PPM clock, intended to give accurate timing and a stable stereo image. The front panel is blast-finished aluminum designed to resist vibration and reduce resonance. The player is offered in black and silver.

On the rear panel there are RCA analog outputs, an optical digital output and a coaxial digital output, so it can feed an amplifier, preamplifier or external DAC. The maker lists it alongside the P-80 network preamplifier, M-80 power amplifier and A-50 network integrated amplifier from the same range.
