Description

The Drive Core Deluxe MKII (Wasabi Drive) combines eight distinct overdrive circuits in one enclosure. A rotary knob selects between voicings ranging from a Texas blues sound to a Nashville-style overdrive, so one pedal can cover several drive flavours.

The signal path is fully analog. Digital control is used only to select the circuit, and the change is made by relays, which keeps the tone unaffected when switching. The pedal is true bypass and can work either as a boost in front of an amp or as the main overdrive tone.

Holding the footswitch turns the Post Boost on or off, adding up to 7dB of extra gain for solos without a separate boost pedal. It runs from a 9V DC supply with a negative-tip plug, draws 35mA, and comes in a compact 122 x 72 x 47mm enclosure weighing 270g. User manuals are offered in English, German, Japanese and Russian.
