Description
The B-10 Vlog is a two-piece wireless microphone set made up of a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter has a built-in omnidirectional electret condenser capsule and a clip back for attaching to clothing. It also has a 3.5mm TRS input for an external lavalier mic. Recording is 24-bit/44.1 kHz with latency under 5 ms and noise reduction, and a fur windshield is supplied for outdoor use.
The two units are paired at the factory and work as soon as they are switched on. Gain can be set in five steps from -12 dB to +12 dB, and an OLED display on the units shows the state of the wireless link. Each unit weighs 28 g, and a storage box keeps the set together.
The receiver connects to cameras through a 3.5mm TRS cable, to phones and tablets through a TRS-to-TRRS (CTIA) adaptor, and it can sit on a camera cold shoe using the supplied mount. A Y-cable allows two receivers to feed one camera. Both units charge together from a USB-C Y-cable. Battery life is about 4 hours for the transmitter and 6 hours for the receiver.
