Launchkey Mini 37 is a bus-powered keyboard controller with 37 velocity-sensitive synth-style mini-keys, 16 RGB backlit pads and eight endless rotary encoders. A 128 x 64 monochrome OLED display shows parameter values and the notes of detected chords.
For playing and composing it has Scale Mode with 30 built-in scales, three chord modes (Chord Map, Fixed Chord and User Chord) and a generative arpeggiator with an 8-step editor offering tie, accent and ratchet controls. The pads are FSR types with polyphonic aftertouch and can trigger single notes or chords. Pad and encoder custom modes let the user map controls with Novation's Components software. The hardware is NKS-ready.
Dedicated scripts cover Ableton Live, Logic, Cubase, Reason, Reaper, FL Studio and Ardour, and other DAWs work through HUI. Encoders switch between plugin, mixer, sends and transport modes. It connects over USB-C, with a 3.5 mm MIDI out and a 1/4" sustain pedal input. A software bundle is included.
