The Launchkey 37 is a compact USB MIDI keyboard controller with 37 synth-action keys, 16 velocity-sensitive RGB pads and eight endless encoders. It suits producers who want DAW control plus built-in scale, chord and arpeggiator tools in a small footprint.

Launchkey 37 combines a three-octave synth-action keyboard with 16 RGB pads that respond to velocity and polyphonic aftertouch. Eight endless rotary encoders handle plugin, mixer, sends and transport control, and four custom encoder modes let the user map their own parameters. A monochrome OLED display shows chord and scale information.
Creative tools include Scale Mode with 30 built-in scales, three chord modes (Chord Map, Fixed Chord and User Chord) and a generative arpeggiator with an 8-step editor offering tie, accent and ratchet controls. Capture MIDI, undo, quantise and metronome buttons support the workflow, and the unit is NKS-ready. Custom pad and encoder layouts can be built in Novation's Components software.
The keyboard connects over USB-C and is bus powered. It also has a 5-pin MIDI output and a sustain pedal input. Custom scripts cover Ableton Live, Logic, Cubase, FL Studio, Reason and Ardour, and other DAWs work through HUI. A software bundle is included, with Ableton Live Lite, Cubase LE, Novation Play and instruments and effects from several partners.
