Circuit Mono Station

Circuit Mono Station pairs a two-oscillator analogue voice with a three-track sequencer played from 32 velocity-sensitive RGB pads. Each oscillator has individually controlled sync and tuning, four waveshapes, a sub-oscillator, ring modulation and noise. The multi-mode filter works as high-pass, low-pass or band-pass with 12dB and 24dB slopes, and three distortion modes plus an overdrive shape the sound further. It can run monophonic or paraphonic, with each oscillator driven by its own sequencer.

The sequencer has two oscillator tracks and one modulation track. Gate length, instant pattern switching, sync rate and pattern mutation are adjustable, and there are 16 scale types. A four-by-eight modulation matrix routes an LFO with four waveshapes, an envelope, the sequencer or velocity to pitch, pulse-width, amp, filter, distortion or CV. Up to 64 patches can be stored on the unit.

For connections, the synth has CV, gate and modulation outputs for external hardware, plus MIDI In, Out and Thru. An audio input lets outside sources pass through the analogue filter and distortion, and be modulated by the mod sequencer. USB links to a Mac or PC, where Components handles unlimited patches and backups of patches and sessions.
