Morphos

Morphos combines two all-analog, digitally controlled oscillators with continuously variable waveforms, soft sync and through-zero frequency modulation. An active calibration system keeps pitch tracking stable over 10 octaves, including at high TZFM ratios. The oscillator design is derived from the maker's Mono and refined for this module.

Each oscillator has a touch-sensitive strip made of four FSR sensors that read vertical position, horizontal position and pressure. The strip morphs between four stored presets in three dimensions, which suits live performance. Memory is organised as 4 banks, each with 3 layers of 4 presets.

Every parameter can be modulated through a contextual system: tapping the button next to a CV input enables modulation, and the LED colour shows the active mode. The three modes are Attenuverter, Modulator and Ping Envelope. The module has 8 dedicated ping envelopes and 8 dedicated modulators, so extra modulation modules are less necessary. Outputs are Eurorack-level audio and CV.
