Mono MK2 is a monophonic synthesiser with a fully analog signal path, a built-in 64-step sequencer and a machined aluminium body. It suits musicians who want to sequence and perform bass, lead and percussion lines from one compact instrument.

Mono MK2 is the second hardware version of Norand's monophonic synth. Its voice has two analog oscillators with through-zero FM, hard sync and continuously variable waveforms, feeding a 3-pole multi-mode state-variable filter. A custom soft overdrive circuit sits at the output.
Modulation is contextual: turning a parameter knob selects it, and each parameter has its own envelope and audio-rate modulator. The sequencer holds up to 64 steps per pattern with ratchet, slide, accent, microshift and probability, and records automation at 1024 PPQN. Several randomizers, undo/redo and 3D-sensor keys for the mini-keyboard and sequencer strip add expressive control (velocity, aftertouch, pitch bend, vertical modulation).
Projects are stored on an SD card. Connections include MIDI in, out and thru, USB-C device and host ports, a balanced 1/4" main output, stereo outputs, a headphone output and two eurorack-level clock/reset inputs.
