BCM 104
The BCM 104 is a cardioid large-diaphragm condenser microphone with an integrated pop screen and elastic suspension, built for radio, streaming and podcast speech. It suits broadcasters, announcers and podcasters, and also works for sung vocals and instruments.

The BCM 104 is a phantom-powered large-diaphragm condenser microphone with a fixed cardioid pattern. Its capsule was developed for speech, and the transformerless output keeps hum low and gives good rejection of interference from sources such as computer screens. The housing is shaped for standard boom arms and includes an elastic mount against structure-borne noise.
An internal pop screen sits behind the headgrille, and the grille twists off for cleaning. Two switches inside the body set a 100 Hz low cut, which helps with close-speech proximity effect, and a -14 dB pre-attenuation for equipment designed around dynamic microphones. A subsonic filter suppresses frequencies below 20 Hz. The response is fairly linear, with a gentle presence lift around 4 kHz and a slight treble rise above 10 kHz.
The microphone connects through a balanced XLR output and runs on 48 V phantom power. It is offered in nickel and in black (BCM 104 mt). Listed accessories include pop screens, a windscreen, a power supply, a swivel joint and a cable.
