Q4 Pro

The Q4PRO is a 400Ws portable strobe in a rounded square housing with a foldable carry handle. It offers TTL, Manual and Multi (stroboscopic) modes, and is compatible with Canon E-TTL II, Nikon i-TTL and Sony TTL systems when used with a suitable trigger. Features include high speed sync up to 1/8000s, first and second curtain sync, flash exposure compensation, S1/S2 optical slave modes, a delay trigger of 0.01s to 30s, and stroboscopic output of up to 100 flashes.

The built-in 30W LED modelling lamp has adjustable brightness and is used to preview lighting and assist focusing. A Freeze Mode shortens flash duration for fast-moving subjects such as splashes. Power is supplied by a 21.6V 2800mAh lithium battery rated for 325 full-power flashes, with a recycling time of roughly 0.01 to 1.2s. Dual colour screens and smartphone app control with firmware updates are used to manage groups.

Wireless control uses the Neewer 2.4G Q system with 5 groups and 32 channels over a range of 328ft/100m when paired with QZ series triggers (sold separately). The unit can act as master or slave for other Q system flashes, and an RX COMPAT mode works with Godox 2.4G X transmitters. It can also be triggered by a 3.5mm sync cord, optical slave or test lead.
