The NS101GHP is a closed-back over-ear headphone developed with Shimamura Music and tuned for guitar playing. Its tuning is aimed at clear separation, so each note stays distinct. The 40mm drivers cover a frequency range of 15-55000Hz, which allows playback of hi-res audio sources without losing fine detail.
The ear pads are covered in velour to reduce ear discomfort over long listening or practice sessions. The closed-back design provides high sound isolation and limits sound leakage. The headphones weigh 235g.
Connection is by a 2.7m cable with a 3.5mm plug. A 3.5mm to 6.3mm adapter is included for use with amplifiers and other gear with a larger jack, along with a cable clip for tidying the cord.
