The NS101DHP is a closed-back headphone tuned for playing electronic drums, where each hit needs to be heard clearly. Its sound is set up for high resolving power so that individual strokes and fine detail are not smeared.
A 40 mm driver covers 15 Hz to 55,000 Hz, a range that suits high-resolution audio sources. The closed design gives high sound isolation and keeps sound from leaking out. Velour ear pads are fitted to reduce ear discomfort during long sessions, and a spare pair is supplied.
Connection is by a 3 m cable, long enough for use at a kit. A 3.5 mm to 6.3 mm adapter is included for different headphone outputs, and a clip helps keep the cable gathered. Impedance is 46 Ω and sensitivity is 100 dB, with a weight of 235 g.
